(Review) TonyMoly: Intense Care Dual Effect Sleeping Pack

Hello!

Tony Moly does not seem to get enough credit for it's products and I do think it should! I am not sure whether people are familiar with sleeping packs but they are extremely popular in Asia. They are masks that you apply before going to bed and while you're sleeping they will work their magic! How good does that sound! I think they are excellent for people who don't have time/can't be bothered putting on mask sheets or other masks during the day or for people who need extra hydration for their skin during the night.

The Intense Care Sleeping pack claims to be a dual functional sleeping pack that contains a wrinkle-improving functional ingredient of adenosine and a skin-whitening functional ingredient of arbutin. It makes dull, sagging, and wrinkled skin young and healthy again. it also provides moisture to your skin throughout the night. You are supposed to use it after evening cleansing by applying an appropriate amount around the face and neck area and gently pat to absorb. This should be the last stage of skin care process and it is suitable for all skin types.

It comes in a 100ml bottle with a pump dispenser (They have updated the packaging since I bought the product). I have been using it over a year but not regularly. I little goes a long way as the consistency is very thick and sticky. It has a white colour to it and smells floral but to me it is not overpowering. This product does not contain any harsh chemicals (other than Alcohol which can act as irritant if you have a very sensitive skin!) and it does not contain any parabens either! It has pomegranate fruit extracts and also many plant extracts such as ginseng, Selaginella and Centella.

It feels very sticky and heavy when I apply it to my face. I apply it just before going to bed so and it does not absorb very quickly but it doesn't really matter since I am going to sleep anyway... I have been suffering from very dry skin lately and if I use my normal night mosituriser, my face is extremely dry in the morning but when I use this my face feels soft and hydrated! I have not noticed any particular whitening effects, not even when I used this product regularly twice to three times a week over 4 months, but my skin does look somewhat brighter in the morning. The anti-aging properties seem  to be subtle but my face does look slightly more firm and youthful.

Overall, it is my favourite sleeping pack because I feel like it does everything that it promises; hydration, brightening and firming. I have nothing bad to say about it as it delivers well and that's why I will give it 5 hearts!

You can get it from Testerkorea for 12,640KRW (approx. 7.65GBP or 11.80USD)

Have a great day!
