(Review) Innisfree: Green Tea Balancing Cream

I never get bored of trying out new moisturisers :D so here's another review on one! I bought this to replace my beloved BEYOND Angel Aqua cream which was unfortunately not available anymore. I have heard so many good things about the Green Tea line from Innisfree and I have the Balancing Cleansing Oil for combi skin so I decided to give this a go.

Description:
"A balancing cream for deep hydration and nourishment made from green tea and green tea seeds

A moisturising and nourishing cream containing eco-friendly Jeju fresh green tea & green tea seed. More moisturising and refreshing than ever before!

1. Green tea extracted from fresh green tea leaves harvested on Jeju Island is rich in amino acids and minerals that help keep the skin moisturised.
2. This product is as light as whipped cream and is absorbed quickly to provide the skin with intense hydration.
3. The cocoa butter forms a thin layer of moisture on the skin and provides intense hydration for combination skin."

Packaging & Texture:

It comes in a 110g plastic jar with 50ml of product.
It is one of the most light weight moisturisers I have ever used. It is has a cream type texture that feels really soothing when applied to skin. I was a bit skeptical about getting a cream type moisturiser because I prefer gel types but I was pleasantly surprised since it is very light weight and goes on very smoothly. It also sinks in very fast and doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky

Effectiveness:

I really do think it does what it promises and balances my skin nicely. It provides a good amount of moisture to my skin and doesn't feel too heavy. I use this mainly as a day cream because during the winter I feel like I need a bit more moisture during the night but need a bit less during the day so that my skin won't look too shiny or oily. I have noticed that ever since I started to use this moisturiser as a day cream my skin get less oily during the day when I'm wearing makeup and yet my skin doesn't have any dry patches.

Pros:💜

  • Light weight texture
  • Sinks in fast
  • Provides enough moisture to a combi skin
  • Balances oil production on skin
Cons:💔

  • None

Conclusions:
I honestly cannot think of any cons with this product since it delivers what it promises; nourishes and balances a combination skin. Obviously it is also advertised for normal to combination skin so I wouldn't recommend it to people with dry or oily skin. Innisfree has other products for these skin types The Green Tea Fresh line is for oily skin and Green Tea Moisture line is for dry skin types. This is a really good moisturiser for people like me with combi skin. Highly recommend!

You can get it from Testerkorea 13,500KRW (approx. 11.20USD or 7.8GBP).

Have a good week! :)
