(Review) COSRX Blackhead Silk Finger Ball

Hello Lovelies!

I have a bunch of reviews to write but unfortunately I have been lazy and haven't got around to writing them. This one, however, I really wanted to share! I only found out about this product quite recently and I decided to give it ago. I have been using it for two weeks now and I wanted to share my thoughts on it.

"This 100% natural silk cocoon fingerball removes old blackhead and sebum. It contains natural protein Sericin for sensitive skin types. Easy and convenient Usage for deep cleansing. This product is affordable and economical finger ball and it is reusable for 2-3times."

How to use:
COSRX is very good when it comes to having instructions available in English. Here's a video on how to use it.

The actual packaging does not come with any instructions or ingredient list in English whatsoever! So I had to do some research on what they contain. COSRX has an excellent web page with a lot of information. The finger balls are made with 100% natural silk cocoon and natural protein called Sericin.
I recently discovered that people with sensitive skin should be using pore strips to cleanse their blackheads. It can irritate the skin when the blackheads are yanked out instead of cleansed away. The pore might end up being clogged over and over again. These are brilliant for people with sensitive skin.

I was slightly confused when I had soaked the finger ball and started to rub it on my skin...It was still quite hard and it just felt like I wasn't doing anything to my skin. Afterwards, my t-zone did feel smoother but it didn't look significantly better after my first use. I was a bit disappointed because in the video they claim that there is a noticeable difference after first use. I tried this on my boyfriend since he has large blackheads on his nose and you can't see any difference in his blackheads or pores.(Thanks Chris for letting me take pictures of your nose!! :D )
I decided to give it two more tries but again the results weren't anything special :(

Th below pic is what the finger ball looks like after two uses.

After two uses

  • Can be used 2-3 times
  • Makes skin feel smoother
  • Good for sensitive skin
  • Effortless to use
  • Do not make blackheads noticeably smaller
  • Does not deep clean pores/blackheads

Overall, I'm not sure how long you would have to keep using these until you start to see the effects but I was disappointed because the video let me believe that they deliver instant results! They are quite effortless to use and are 100% natural. I have noticed that my skin is less bumpy than usual. I will continue using them and live in the hope that maybe they will at least deep clean my pores...

Get them from Cosmetic-Love for 3.70GBP (5USD or 5,500KRW).
